Here’s an iOS tactics game that I couldn’t resist writing about. Sure, the game looks appealing, but the real selling point is the top-flight names that the people behind the product are sporting. Solarian Tactics is the brainchild of Andrew Ow, a self-taught developer and the founder of Haiku Games. The game’s music is composed by no one less than Chan Walrus. You guys, can we start a band? I want to be in a band with you.
Mechanically, Solarian Tactics looks a bit like James Pawliuk’s squad tactical games, but the art is more accomplished. I dig the sci-fi bobbleheads.
It’s already been submitted to Apple so we’ll keep an eye out for it in the near future. The trailer’s embedded below.
