Despite the OnePlus 12 arriving just a few months ago, we’ve already seen a fresh OnePlus 13 leak. If this new information turns out to be true, it could mean some interesting changes in terms of both the hardware and design of the next OnePlus flagship phone.

The new OnePlus 13 leak is courtesy of Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, via Gizmochina. Despite the length of the three-line post, there’s a lot of detail there. The big highlight is the suggestion that the OnePlus 13 utilizes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, something Qualcomm itself still hasn’t revealed. The leak also points to a micro-curve 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, though the tech reportedly still needs perfecting with the latter feature.

In terms of the design of the OnePlus 13, the leaker is a little more cryptic, reporting that the phone “takes on a new look.” This doesn’t give us much to work with, but it backs up reports from earlier in the year that the tech brand might be ditching the circular camera island of the last two generations of flagship OnePlus phones in favor of a classic vertical camera setup. It doesn’t look like the cameras themselves are changing, though, with leaker Yogesh Brar reporting that the OnePlus 13 has the same cameras and 5,400mAh battery as the OnePlus 12.

It’s worth pointing out that Digital Chat Station, the leaker in question, has a slightly mixed track record when it comes to previous leaks. However, they’ve been on the money enough for us to report on these new details, even if they might be worth taking with a pinch of salt until we get direct confirmation from OnePlus later in the year. We’re also keeping an eye out for any new details on a possible OnePlus flip phone after rumors began to circulate earlier this month.
