Is there a Squad Busters trailer?

Yes, there are a few Squad Busters trailers! The first trailer is a short 30-second clip in which you first see a chest in a field, followed by the Clash of Clans barbarian bursting out of it and going for a run with a chicken. Soon enough, Brawl Stars’ Colt joins them, and then, before you know it, there’s a whole group of characters from various Supercell games, showing that Squad Busters is bringing them together for the first time. You can watch that trailer below:

The second trailer is for the second beta test announcement, and this one shows some gameplay. You get to see the various characters run around a range of maps as they fight enemies, collect coins, and unlock chests.

Finally, there’s the launch trailer, an action-packed animated short showing off how chaotic this game can be:

What is Squad Busters’ gameplay like?

Squad Busters is an action game with a strong focus on combat and squad building. As showcased in the second beta announcement trailer above, your main focus is to build a squad with recognizable characters from different Supercell games, then use your squad to make it to the end of the match while collecting as many gems as you can.

At the start of each round, the game randomly selects ‘mods’ that add special rules to that game. We get a sneak peek at some of these mods in the trailer, such as Pinata Party which sees you smacking a sentient pinata until it drops a bunch of loot (kind of like the Fortnite Llama, huh?), Royal Haunt which populates the map with a bunch of royal ghosts, Double Trouble that doubles the size of your squad, and more. These different battle mods help keep gameplay fresh, ensuring that no two matches are alike.

There are heaps of other elements to keep you busy, including the ability to fuse characters, customize your plaza, and more. Honestly, we can’t wait to fight alongside a giant chicken when the game launches.

And that concludes our Squad Busters guide. Make sure you read our Squad Busters preview to learn more about what it offers. You can also check out our Clash of Clan bases, Clash Royale decks, Brawl Stars events, and Clash Royale Valkyrie guides to get to grips with Supercell’s other games.
