When is the next Wuthering Waves livestream?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Kuro Games plans to hold Wuthering Waves livestreams to usher in each update. Instead, the official Twitter account posted a tweet stating “to give you a sneak peek into what we have in store for you in future updates, we’ll share the latest adjustments we’re making to the game via Developer’s Message before each new version’s launch.”

You can read the Wuthering Waves 1.1 Developer’s Message on the official WuWa website.

When is the next Wuthering Waves update?

Kuro Games announced that Wuthering Waves version 1.1, entitled That of Eons, will go live following maintenance on Friday, June 28, 2024, meaning you’ll be able to dive into the next Wuthering Waves update on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

What are the Wuthering Waves update 1.1 banners?

In a recent update post, Kuro Games announced that version 1.1’s banners will feature the new five-star characters, Wuthering Waves’ Changli and Jinhsi. We’ll be sure to update this guide with more info in the near future, but, in the meantime, be sure to keep an eye on our Wuthering Waves banner guide.

Is there a new area in Wuthering Waves update 1.1?

Version 1.1 sees the map grow to include the new area, Mt. Firmament. We don’t know much about this expansion to the map just yet, but we think it’s likely going to play an important role in the new version’s story.

And if a whole new area isn’t enough to keep you entertained, version 1.1 also allows you to transform into an echo called ‘Clang Bang’ in select areas of Mt. Firmament. You can use this oddly adorable, ice-cube-like form to solve special puzzles and challenges as you explore.

Additionally, Kuro Games has announced that the addition of Mt. Firmament ushers in the new layered map feature, intended to help you better explore this fresh area. It allows you to switch between different layers on the map for more detailed exploration guidance.

Is there a new boss in Wuthering Waves update 1.1?

In version 1.1, we get the opportunity to take on the brand new boss, Jué. We know that Jué is the sentinel of Jinzhou, and we hear a lot about this ancient dragon in the main story – but details about him as a boss are quite thin on the ground right now. Be sure to check back here closer to the update, as we’ll be adding any details as soon as we find them.

What are the Wuthering Waves update 1.1 events?

Following feedback, Kuro Games has promised to improve the event content, quality, and rewards in future updates, starting with version 1.1. While we don’t know what events are coming in 1.1 just yet, it sounds like there’s going to be plenty to keep us busy. Of course, we’ll be sure to update this guide as soon as we know more. Are there any new features in Wuthering Waves update 1.1?

There are plenty of new features coming in Wuthering Waves version 1.1. First, there’s the new resonator gallery feature, entitled Crossing Stars, where you can check all of the resonators you’ve unlocked and when you unlocked them.

There’s also a new story dialogue gallery feature, which allows you to re-read all the dialogue from the main and companion quests you’ve completed so far – which is great if you’re a lore-lover looking for a refresher.

On top of that, version 1.1 introduces a new tuner synthesis feature, which allows you to synethesize medium and advanced tuners into higher-grade tuners using the synthesizer in Jizhou, so you don’t have to worry about low-grade tuners piling up in your backpack during the late game.

Are there any Wuthering Waves optimizations coming in update 1.1?

If there’s one thing Kuro Games has made abundantly clear, it’s that it intends to listen to the players. As such, version 1.1 sees plenty of fresh optimizations and quality of life changes intended to make your experience more enjoyable.

Firstly, in order to improve the leveling up experience and to allow players to unlock late-game content earlier, version 1.1 sees an increase in the union EXP you get for unlocking new echo entries. But don’t worry if you’re already filled up your data bank, as Kuro Games is retrospectively rewarding the additional union EXP for all the echoes you unlocked during 1.0. You can claim this via your in-game mail.

Additionally, the devs have heard your feedback about the high variability in the COST range of the echo you receive for gathering activity points, and have removed low COST echoes from the reward pool. So, following the 1.1 update, every time you accumulate 100 activity points by completing guidebook tasks, you receive a random echo of COST 3 or COST 4 quality.

On the topic of activity points, following player feedback Kuro Games is increasing the variety and number of daily activity points tasks, with the intent of making the daily grind more flexible and enjoyable for everyone.

After the version 1.1 update, the level cap of the data bank is also raising to level 21 – and, when you reach level 21, all echo drops are guaranteed to be of five-star rarity.

As for exploration, in order to make it easier for you to track and find undiscovered supply chests near you, version 1.1 sees an expantion to the detection range of the Lootmapper – a device that you can deploy via the utility wheel.

And, if you’re having trouble working out what role best suits your favorite Wuthering Waves characters, 1.1 also introduces extensive new combat style tags, which categorize the combat mechanics of different resonators – from support and healer to burst damage dealer.

There are plenty of other optimizations, too, including a lowered shell credit cost for echo leveling, the removal of the tacet field reward collection animation, adjustments to controller mode (including the ability to invert camera controls, as well as the option to remap certain buttons on PlayStation controllers).

That’s all we’ve got on the current and next Wuthering Waves update. To fill your calendar with even more fun festivities from all your favorite gacha games, be sure to keep an eye on our Genshin Impact events, Honkai Star Rail events, and Zenless Zone Zero events guides.
