What is the best Lucy build?
As we mentioned up above, Lucy is an A-rank character who deals fire damage with a strike fighting style and has a support specialty. We recommend you equip her with a Kaboom the Cannon W-Engine for an energy regen boost. For disc drives, go with four pieces of Swing Jazz to boost energy regen further and two pieces of Hormone Punk for a crit rate boost.
It’s worth noting that the effect from a four piece set of Swing Jazz doesn’t stack, so if you have it equipped to someone else, feel free to use four Hormone Punk and two Swing Jazz instead.
Best W-Engine | Kaboom the Cannon |
Best disc drives | Two pieces – Hormone Punk Four pieces – Swing Jazz |
Main stats | Attack ratio > energy regen |
Sub-stats | Attack ratio > attack > crit (rate or damage) > anomaly proficiency |
Please note that as we’re so close to launch this build is bound to change as learn the meta.
What are Lucy’s best W-Engines?
Kaboom the Cannon is our recommendation for Lucy’s W-Engine as it helps boost squad members’ attack.
W-Engine | Effect |
Kaboom the Cannon | Increases all squad members’ attack for eight seconds when any friendly unit in the squad hits an enemy, stacking up to four times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately, and each friendly unit can provide one stack. Passive effects of the same name do not stack |
What are the best disc drives for Lucy?
At the moment we recommend four pieces of Swing Jazz for energy regen boost and buff to other squad members’ damage. As for the two piece set, we’re going with Hormone Punk, but this may change as we continue to explore the meta.
Disc drives | Effect |
Swing Jazz | Two pieces – Increases energy regen by 20% Four pieces – Increases all squad members’ damage by 15% for 12 seconds when launching a chain attack or ultimate. Passive effects of the same name do not stack |
Hormone Punk | Two pieces – Increases fire damage by 10% Four pieces – Increases crit rate by 28% by eight seconds when you hit a burning enemy |

What are Lucy’s mindscape cinemas?
If you’re new to ZZZ, mindscape cinema is similar to Genshin Impact’s constellations and Honkai Star Rail’s eidolons. To increase Lucy’s mindscape cinema level you need to pick her up more than once during a gacha pull.
Here are all of Lucy’s mindscape cinemas:
Mindscape cinema | Effect |
Drill Formations | Lucy recovers two energy when the guard boars launch Spinning Swing! You can trigger this effect once every 15 seconds, with each boar having its own cooldown |
Little Boar Captain | When Lucy uses a chain attack or ultimate, all squad members, Bangboo, and guard boars gain the Cheer On! status for ten seconds |
Ironfist Overseer | Increases the level of basic attack, dodge, assist, special attack, and chain attack by two |
Chaos Ball Game | Increases all allies’ crit damage by an additional 10% when Cheer On! is active |
Wildland Princess | Increases the level of basic attack, dodge, assist, special attack, and chain attack by two |
Fierce Fangs of Fire | When an ally in the Cheer On! state hits an enemy with an EX Special attack, a guard boar drops from the sky to deal AoE fire damage equal to 300% of the guard boar’s attack. This extends the duration of Cheer On! by five seconds for all squad members. The duration can increase up to three times, with a maximum duration of 30 seconds. Refreshing Cheer On! resets the stack count. After the explosion, the boars launch Spinning Swing! |
