Recently, we got a glimpse of Wuthering Waves Changli, an upcoming five-star character in Kuro Games’ latest mobile title. Below, you can find out what we know about her build, rarity, and role in the story ahead of her release into the gacha game.

While you’re here, be sure to check out all the Wuthering Waves characters right here including limited five-stars like Wuthering Waves Yinlin and Wuthering Waves Jiyan. We’ve also got a handy Wuthering Waves tier list showing where each character ranks up so far.

Who is Wuthering Waves’ Changli?

Changli is a counselor and mentor to the Jinzhou Magistrate, Jinhsi. Conveniently, Jinhsi first appeared via drip marketing just before Changli, so it’s likely to release before her and pave the way for Changli’s story.

It is said that Changli is persuasive and patient, and has an excellent talent for leveraging human nature – that is to say, bending others to her will and luring enemies into traps. What this means for her as one of our party members, we’ll have to wait and see.

What do we know about Wuthering Waves Changli’s build?

While information is a little thin on the ground, there are a couple of key things we can tell you about Changli. According to a post on Kuro Games’ Bilibili page, Changli can ‘generate’ flames, which means she’s more than likely a fusion user.

We can see from Changli’s drip marketing that she’ll be a five-star character – in the top right of the image, there are four stars with one extra, showing her rarity. Judging by other games and their release patterns, it appears that Changli may release in the first post-release Wuthering Waves update, 1.1, likely in the second half.

That’s all we’ve got on Wuthering Waves’ Changli for now. You can check out everything we know about the Wuthering Waves banners here, and grab any new Wuthering Waves codes from our guide.
